Meet Janet Hill...
In 1998 Janet began her spiritual journey to become a Priestess of the Yemaya. In the Santeria traditions, the Yemaya is the Mother and Guardian of the Ocean.
Over the last 20 years, her training has made her who she is. She began her initiation into the priesthood in 1999.
Initiation into the priesthood begins with shaving of one’s head to release the past and start a new beginning in the first phases of the new journey. During this time the initiate must wear white for one year. For Janet, her journey this has been a time of discovery both within and without. Learning who she was and healing herself with the guidance of the Orishas.
When one embarks upon a new path, a life changing experience of awakening with the soul happens. The ego is released and the first steps of humility take hold.
Janet holds her very essence as a being of light, making manifest truth within and without. The light of truth aids each individual to the level of accountability each must hold in order to manifest their own higher truths.
Using the energy of the Orishas helps me bring forth healing for each person’s highest and best interest.
